DELANO, Calif. — According to the Delano Police Department, at around 8 p.m. Saturday officers were called to investigate a report regarding a juvenile possibly being annoyed or molested on Kalibo Street near 22nd Avenue in Delano.

Officers determined that 31-year-old Ronaldy Robles of Delano approached a group of girls to talk. When the girls tried to leave, Robles grabbed a 14-year-old girl and pulled her away from the group. The girl was able to free herself and run away unharmed.

Robles was found a short distance away and detained by DPD. Robles was arrested and subsequently charged with annoying or molesting a child and kidnapping.

The case is being further investigated by the Investigation Division.
