A man is in custody after he allegedly fired off multiple rounds from a gun Monday night. 

According to Bakersfield Police, officers responded to the area of Donna Avenue, just off Brundage Lane and Union just before 9:30 Monday night.

Police showed up and found that 38-year-old Jose Orquiza fired off  what was reported as "celebratory" gunshots.

A search of his home found four rifles, two handguns, six pounds of marijuana and cash.

Orquiza was taken into custody and faces multiple gun and drug charges.
