Man arrested for allegedly stealing $5,000 worth of property in Rosedale area

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A man was arrested for allegedly stealing $5,000 worth of property in the Rosedale area.

According to the Kern County Sheriff's Department, on April 23, deputies responded to a residence in the area of Rosedale Highway and Jenkins Road for a probation search.

Deputies contacted 31-year-old Justin Gladden at the residence. KCSO says Gladden was in possession of stolen property from multiple burglaries and thefts in the Rosedale area.

KCSO says Gladden was seen on multiple videos in the Rosedale area committing thefts while wearing a blue and red New England Patriots hat.

KCSO says deputies located approximately $5,000 worth of stolen property at the residence.

Deputies were able to identify five victims of the thefts and return the stolen property to the owners.

KCSO says Gladden was placed under arrest for two counts of residential burglary.
