A man driving under the influence with 3 ounces of crystal methamphetamine in his car was arrested Wednesday night.
Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on 27-year-old Ruben Michael Estrada near Niles and Fairfax in East Bakersfield.
Deputies determined Estrada was driving under the influence of marijuana.
Three ounces of crystal methamphetamine and a stolen semi-automatic 380 caliber handgun were found in the vehicle.
Estrada was arrested and booked on charges including possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sale, and transportation of a controlled substance.
