The California Highway Patrol arrested a man in southwest Bakersfield on Wednesday after finding a loaded Mac 12 gun in his home.
On May 30 just before 10 p.m., CHP officers conducted a follow up investigation at a home on Beechwood Street near Stine Road to a vehicle pursuit from the night before.
Officers questioned Austin Tyler Fry and found a loaded Cobray M-12 (Mac 12) firearm with a high capacity magazine attached.
Fry, 19, was arrested for possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a high capacity magazine.
The incident is under investigation.
