BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — At approximately 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, officers with Kern County Probation Department Gang Intervention and Suppression Team conducted a probation search near 600 East 9th Street.

During their search, officers located a stolen rifle and contacted and arrest 19-year-old Nathaniel Barajas who was subsequently booked for possession of a stolen firearm and criminal street gang related charges according to officials.
