McFarland Police officers arrested a man for stabbing another man in McFarland on Monday.
According to McFarland PD, just after midnight, they were called to the MPD station for a subject out front of the building suffering from stab wounds.
The male victim, who is not being identified, told officers that he was stabbed several times at a residence in the 400 block of 3rd Street.
The man ran to the police department for assistance.
The victim had moderate to major injuries and officers requested medical aid respond. The victim was transported to Kern Medical for further treatment.
Through a further McFarland PD investigation, they determined 20 year-old Simitrio Nunez, of McFarland, was responsible for the stabbing.
Nunez was located and taken into custody without incident.
Nunez was booked in at the Kern County Sheriff’s Central Receiving Facility in Bakersfield for assault with a deadly weapon..
