A man was arrested after witnesses reported him using a stolen backhoe.

On September 4, KCSO received a call about a stolen backhoe being used in the 11000 block of Round Mountain Road. When KCSO arrived on scene, they found 48-year-old Pete Figueroa in possession of the backhoe. Officers were able to match the backhoe to one that was reported stolen from a construction company in August.

Figueroa was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle/ tractor.
