Bakersfield Police arrested a 30-year-old man for several charges during a traffic stop on South Haley St. Saturday night.

BPD officials said at approximately 7:00 pm, they conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Haley Street.

During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located suspected narcotics and a loaded firearm.

Police officers arrested 30-year-old Ricardo Lopez for vehicle code violations, illegal possession of a firearm, and gang related charges.
