A man is in custody after he was found in possession of two stolen guns.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, 24-year-old Christopher Givan was taken into custody on Wednesday. 

Bakersfield Police were executing a search warrant at a home on East 9th Street and found Givan in possession of a loaded stolen AR-15 assault rifle, a loaded .44-caliber revolver and multiple rounds of ammunition. 

Givan faces multiple gun charges, participating in a street gang and possession of stolen property. 

He's set to be in court Friday.
