Kern County Sheriff's officials arrested a man after he shot and killed a teenager in a East Bakersfield neighborhood Wednesday night.
KCSO officials said at about 7:06 pm, their deputies responded to a report of a victim of a shooting in the area of Virginia Ave. and Quantico Ave.
KCSO deputies said when they arrived, they located the victim in the north alley of the 2500 block of Virginia Ave.

Deputies administered medical aid until an ambulance arrived and transported the victim to Kern Medical Center.
The victim had sustained a single gunshot to his upper body and was pronounced dead at KMC.
Homicide detectives responded and initiated an investigation.
The victim was identified as 16-year-old Ramon Dominguez.
KCSO officials said they were able to determine Dominguez and another Hispanic male had been involved in a confrontation with two black males in the area prior to the shooting.
During the confrontation, one of the black males shot the victim.
During the investigation, KCSO detectives were able to identify a suspect, 23 year old Denzil Nutall.
KCSO said they developed information that Nutall had left Bakersfield and was possibly in the Los Angeles area.
At about 2:30 am, Nutall was located by officers from the Los Angeles Police Department on a Greyhound bus in Los Angeles. He was arrested without incident.
Nutall was transported to Bakersfield and booked into the Kern County Jail for one count of murder. The investigation is ongoing.
KCSO officials are attempting to identify other individuals who may have been involved in the initial confrontation.
