Jesus Ramirez took a plea deal on Wednesday relating to charges including attempted murder and evading arrest.
Ramirez was arrested last Friday on charges including evading arrest, driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol and driving without a license. He also was arrested for an outstanding attempted murder warrant.
McFarland Police attempted to make a routine traffic stop on Ramirez, 25, last Friday but it turned into a short pursuit.
Ramirez ultimately crashed his truck into a concrete wall and was taken to Kern Medical for his injuries. He was then booked into the Kern County Sheriff's Central Receiving Facility.
Sentencing for Ramirez is set for November 22.
