Nathaniel Russell Washington has been arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon other than firearm and vandalism under $1,000 deface with paint or other liquid following an incident that happened on Sunday, October 28.

At approximately noon on Sunday, Bakersfield Police received a call from Hall Ambulance about a man who tried to collide with his vehicle into their ambulance near Stine and Ming. 

According to police, a person in a white Mazda tried to pull them over and fight. Hall was able to evade him and BPD made contact with the Ambulance near 800 Real Road. 

Washington reportedly drove off and was unable to be found before turning himself in at approximately 6 p.m. on Monday.
