Bakersfield Police Officers arrested Victor Lopez, 24 on Tuesday afternoon, just after 2:45 p.m. Officers said that they conducted a traffic stop on Lopez's vehicle at around 200 East 5th Street near Union Ave.
The driver was on probation according to police and found to have two felony warrants for his arrest. After searching his vehicle, officers said he was in possession of a loaded firearm.
According to police, Lopez was arrested for the outstanding warrants and various firearm violations.
