One man is now behind bars after being arrested for gun and weapons violations Sunday night.
It all happened around 7:40 p.m. on Miller Street.
The Bakersfield Police Department was searching 18-year-old Edgar Salas' car, when they found a loaded gun.
He was arrested as a result.
