One man is now behind bars, after police searched his house in Central Bakersfield Tuesday and found a stolen gun.

Bakersfield Police conducted the search at a home on Tierra Verde Street, near Manor and West Columbus Street, at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. That's where they found the stolen gun.

33-year-old Torres Dawson was arrested as a result. He is now facing several charges, including stolen property, gun and gang related charges.
