A man is behind bars after he was found with a stolen gun on Monterey Street on Thursday night.
According to Bakersfield Police, a search was conducted Thursday at around 7:30 p.m. at a home on Monterey Street just off Tulare Street.
BPD found a stolen .45 handgun and arrested 20-year-old Dezell Madison.
He now faces gun and gang charges and charges tied to the theft of the gun.
