The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a man found in the open desert in Rosamond Wednesday morning.
Officials found the man in the open desert area at 100th Street West, south of Reed Avenue.
The cause of death is unknown and his name is currently being withheld until next of kin is notified.
