UPDATE (July 6, 11:18 a.m.): The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified the man who was found dead in Mill Creek Park.
The Coroner's Office says 26-year-old Patrick Ramond Anderson OKeefe was found Thursday morning just after 2 a.m. at Mill Creek Park.
The cause of OKeefe's death has not yet been determined.

Early this morning, the Bakersfield Police Department and city fire personnel located a dead man in Mill Creek Park.
Officers responded to reports of a man floating in the water at 2:00 a.m.
The cause of death is undetermined at this time and the investigation in ongoing.
