Kern County Sheriff officials said a man was found dead on Airport Drive , just south of Roberts Lane Sunday morning at around 3:58am.

Coroner's identified the man as 46-year-old William Stanley Monik.

A postmortem examination will be conducted later this week to determined cause and manner of death.
