BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A man's death has been ruled a homicide after he was shot multiple times and found on Edison Highway on Valentine's Day.
According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Michael Lewis Rojas was found dead with traumatic injuries on Edison Highway east of Morning Drive on Valentine's Day morning.
A postmortem examination was conducted and the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds. The Kern County Coroner has ruled Rojas' death a homicide.
