BAKERSFIELD -- A man convicted of the murder of his step-son back in 2010 is scheduled to be sentenced this morning.
Last month, Carlos Laguna was found guilty on first degree murder of one-year-old Joaquin Ramirez Junior. He was also found guilty of willful cruelty to child and assault of a child under 8 resulting in death.
His sentencing is set for 8:30 am.
