Kern County Coroner officials have released the name of the victim killed in crash on Planz Rd. on Sunday.
The man was identified as 23-year-old Hugo Alberto Soto Vargas of Bakersfield.

Sunday's deadly crash is another in a string of car accidents involved parked cars on Planz Road
On Sunday, Bakersfield Police officials said Chavez was driving when for unknown reasons lost control of his vehicle striking several unoccupied parked vehicles before rolling onto its side.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy will be scheduled to determine cause and manner of death.
