BAKERSFIELD, Calif — One man is in serious condition after being taken out of the water at the Park at Riverwalk.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department officers responded to a man struggling in the water shortly after 1:30 p.m.

The man was pulled out of the water and transported to a local area hospital.
