Man hurt, one arrested in Union Ave. stabbing

Bakersfield Police officials say a man is in stable condition after he was stabbed on Union Ave. Friday night.
 
At around 8:28 p.m., BPD officers were on patrol in the 800 block of Union Avenue.
 
According to the BPD, one of their officers  observed two subjects running into the roadway and witnessed the suspect stab the victim.
 
The BPD officer was able to take the suspect into custody at the scene.
 
The officer rendered medical aid to the victim until Hall Ambulance and Bakersfield City Fire personnel arrived and took over the medical care.
 
The man was transported to a local area hospital where he is listed in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
 
BPD says the Juvenile suspect was arrested and booked into the Kern County Juvenile Hall.
