A man is being treated in the hospital after being stabbed in East Bakersfield on Wednesday morning.

According to Bakersfield Police, the man was stabbed around 4 a.m. in the intersection of Flower Street and Beale Avenue, near the Xpress Liquor store. 

Police did arrest the suspect. 

Right now police say they don't have a motive for the stabbing.
