BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Roger Logan traveled from Mississippi, nearly two years ago to Bakersfield Memorial Hospital to have life-saving surgery.

Bakersfield Memorial Hospital was the only hospital in the country willing to operate on Logan's 140-pound tumor, that was growing in his abdomen and slowly killing him.

The tumor was growing in Logan's abdomen for over a decade after an ingrown hair got infected.

In January of 2017, Dr. Dev was able to remove the tumor, but the tumor left damages.

Now, Logan and his wife are back for hopefully, his final surgery. He will have the surgery Tuesday at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital.

Doctors will fix his urinary system and have some cosmetic surgery.
