The man arrested for shooting and killing a retired BPD officer in an Arizona casino parking lot following a robbery spree on Christmas Eve has been sentenced.
John Albert Campos, 49, was sentenced to six life sentences Monday for the 2015 crime with no chance of parole.
Campos had pleaded guilty to multiple charges on top of the prior indictments.
Campos had previously pleaded guilty to carjacking resulting in death, use of firearm during a crime of violence resulting in death, and various other counts of carjacking, use of a firearm during a crime of violence, and Hobbs Act robbery.
