WASCO, Calif. — A man is recovering after a fight led to a shooting in Wasco Saturday night.

It happened around 10:35 p.m. on Highway 46, near North Palm Avenue. A makeshift car show was going on, when at some point, there was a physical altercation, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.

KCSO said it doesn't know how many people were involved in the altercation, but a man was shot after a single bullet was fired. His wounds are non-life threatening.

According to KCSO, there is no suspect information at this time.
