A man who was shot and killed in Delano on Saturday has been identified, Delano Police said on Monday.
Officers responded to a call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon to the 2000 block of Princeton Street around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. When they arrived, they found 36-year-old Adan Aguilar Berrera suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency personnel tried to revive Berrera but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Delano Police also found 90 pounds of processed marijuana packaged for sale along with other paraphernalia inside the home.
There is no evidence at this time that the homicide was related to the marijuana or any criminal street gang activity, police said.
