On May 1, 2017 a man was shot and killed walking near Ming Avenue and Sunshine Avenue around 7:15 p.m. when he was shot and later died in the hospital. 

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man that was riding a bike nearby during the time of the shooting.
