Police say a man is dead after he was shot by a police officer outside of a 7-Eleven in Huntington Beach, Calif.
The incident took place Friday morning.
Officials said there was an altercation between an officer and the man who was shot.
The man was transported to a hospital where he died, officials told CNN.
They did not say why they were called out to the scene.
