BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A man is recovering Sunday morning following a shooting near a gas station in southwest Bakersfield.

The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. at the intersection of Stockdale Highway and Real Road near a 7-Eleven gas station.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, a man was shot in the leg and suffered minor to moderate injuries. There is no suspect information yet.
