BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — BPD is investigating after a man was shot several times in Central Bakersfield on New Year's Eve.
According to BPD, officers were called out to Memorial Hospital on January 1 around 12:20 a.m. regarding a shooting victim. The shooting was determined to have occurred outside of Patino Hall in Central Bakersfield. BPD says the man was shot several times and taken to the hospital by private means. His injuries were determined to be serious but non-life threatening.
