UPDATE (6:22 a.m.): Bakersfield Police say the victim in Friday morning's shooting is in critical, but stable condition.

Bakersfield Police are looking for any suspects tied to an early morning shooting in East Bakersfield on Friday.

According to Bakersfield Police, a man was shot in the area of East 3rd Street and Union Avenue at about 1:15 a.m.

He walked about a block for help. He was taken to an area hospital to be treated for moderate injuries. 

No arrests have been made. Bakersfield Police said the suspect drove off in a brown suburban.
