BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office said they received a call for service Sunday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. for a man struggling in the water near Lake Ming and Hart Park.

Kern Fire officials also responded and say the man was not alert and had labored breathing when crews arrived. KCFD officials performed CPR and other first aid measures before the man was transported to Kern Medical.

Officials are unable to confirm the man's condition at this time. This is a developing story.
