A pedestrian sustained moderate injuries after a vehicle versus pedestrian accident in Southwest Bakersfield Sunday night.
The incident happened atound 8:46 p.m. in the intersection of White Lane and Stine Road.
The male pedestrian was taken to the hospital.
The adult male was crossing White Lane east of Stine Road not in a crosswalk, according to the investigation. The man crossed in front of an eastbound vehicle and was hit.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
At this time drugs, alcohol and speed do not appear to be a factor in this for the driver of the vehicle.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor for the adult male.
