BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The man convicted of punching and killing his friend at a bowling alley in Southwest Bakersfield is scheduled to be sentenced today.
Last February, Orlando Bailey and his friend, Chris Brown, got into a fight at Regency Lanes.
Bailey hit Brown in the head during the fight, leading Brown to become unconscious.
Brown was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
Bailey took a plea deal, pleading no contest to involuntary manslaughter.
