The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified the man who was killed after he jumped from a moving car on Monday morning.

Thirty-six-year-old Bryce Grantham was in a car that was going west on Rosedale Highway. The coroner's office says while the car was moving, Grantham jumped from the passenger side in the area of Superior Road. He suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

It's not known what caused Grantham to jump from the car.
