An undisclosed amount of marijuana and pills were seized from a dispensary in central Bakersfield on Friday.
Bakersfield Police Department investigators served a search warrant at Diamond Medical, located at 1800 Brundage Lane.
Officers arrested one man on suspicion of selling marijuana and prescription narcotics. They also seized marijuana and pills from the business.
"Medical marijuana dispensaries are illegal and attract more crime to the community," said Sgt. Gary Carruesco in a BPD press release. "The City of Bakersfield has taken a stance against them and has ongoing efforts in place to eradicate them."
