KERN COUNTY, Calif. — Marley's Mutts is set to host their Miles of Smiles for Give Big Kern on Tuesday morning.
The shelter's rescue pups will take a trip on the Drool Bus around Kern County while raising money for the shelter and spotlighting other local organizations.
The bus will be making four stops on this adventure:
- Bakersfield Homeless Shelter (1600 E Truxtun Avenue) - 8:30 a.m.
- The Mission at Kern County (816 E 21st Street) - 9:30 a.m.
- Kern Bridges Youth Home (1321 Stine Road) - 11:00 a.m.
- Motor City Buick GMC (3215 Pacheco Road) - 12:00 p.m.
Funds raised during Give Big Kern will be used to help support rescue efforts at Marley's Mutts and to help community outreach projects; Miracle Mutts and Pawsitive Change.
Kids at each stop will receive a special gift: a stuffed animal of the famous Marley's Mutts French Mastiff, Hooch.
