An east Bakersfield massage parlor was shut down Monday night after the owner allegedly exposed a customer, according to Kern County Public Health.

Public Health held a joint operation with the Kern County Sheriff's Office at Yang Massage Spa.

A decoy from KCSO received a massage at the parlor located at 203 Weedpatch Highway. The masseuse, who is also the owner, allegedly removed the towel from him, Public Health said.

Yang Massage Spa was closed and cited for multiple violations of county ordinances. The owner was cited for exposing an individual receiving a massage.

Michelle Corson with Public Health said they're conducting more of these operations lately.
