Maya Cinemas in Bakersfield will show a special sensory-friendly screening of Incredibles 2 on Saturday July 7th at 10:30 a.m.
Staff at the movie theater said, Saturday's show will have audience members with special needs in mind. The lights will be raised and the volume will be lowered. The show will start at 10:30 a.m. and is free for guests with special needs and three dollars for family, friends and guardians.
Incredibles 2 is the sequel to the 2004 Pixar super hero movie based on a family of super heroes, who tried to live normal lives without their Super identities until they are forced to save the world.
Maya Cinema staff also remind parents that Disney has issued the following warning: Incredibles 2 contains a sequence of flashing lights which may affect customers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or other photo sensitivities.
