Mayor Harvey L. Hall collaborated with HPN Books published a hardbound coffee table book titled “Bakersfield, It’s The People, And A Whole Lot More” as a tribute to the city.

The book will be available just in time for the holidays. A book signing has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 13 at the Rabobank Convention Center lobby from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Attendees of the book signing will save $10 off the selling price and have the opportunity to have their book signed by Mayor Hall, the photographer, and the author.

The 304-page book is for sale online for $49.94.

The book features a narrative by local writer Mark Corum that compliments the photos of local photographer Greg Iger.
