McFarland Animal Control worked to keep their animals dry and warm on Monday after the rain over the weekend flooded parts of their shelter.

Shelter officials said the City of McFarland has applied for a grant to build a permanent indoor structure.

Until then, they are taking donations of tarps, blankets, dog houses and pallets to help keep the animals warm and off the ground.
