MCFARLAND, CA. - A school supply drive was held Saturday in McFarland, hosted by several organizations.

The event was sponsored by the McFarland Lions Club, Mcfarland Leo's Club, McFarland Chambers, and Crosspointe Baptist Church McFarland.

The annual collection event helps families in the McFarland Unified School District who are struggling to provide their children with school supplies.

The 'Stuff The Bus' event happened from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dollar General parking lot on 520 West Perkins Avenue.

Donated supplies included new or unused crayons, markers, pencils, notebooks or backpacks.

The items will go to students in kindergarten, through seniors in high school.
