The McFarland Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting from Tuesday night.

Officers were sent to the 800 block of Third Street for a shooting and found a male victim in front of the location. The 22-year-old had been shot and was airlifted to Kern Medical, where he later died.

The victim has been identified as Marcus Andrew Zepeda of McFarland. There is currently no suspect information available.
