MCFARLAND, Calif. (KERO) — An evacuation warning is in effect for McFarland, the Kern County Fire Department announcing Saturday morning.
Officials have set up an evacuation center at Horizon Elementary School.
According to KCFD, water flow from the Poso Creek has become a threat to the area.
The warning includes residents near Poso Creek, from Elmo Highway south to Famoso Road.
