McMurtrey Aquatic Center closed to the public through the end of March

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Due to the coronavirus and the declaration made by the State of California Governor, all programming at McMurtrey Aquatic Center is canceled at least through the end of the month.

The City said its Recreation & Parks Department operates four public pool facilities, of which three are seasonal and one is the year-round: McMurtrey Aquatic Center.

The City of Bakersfield confirmed to 23ABC that employees are still working there, but the pool will be closed to the public.
