Meals With A Mission: Dine to donate in honor of Chef Ray

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – In honor of Chef Ray’s life and his dedication to giving back to the community, J’s Place is hosting "Meals with a Mission" tonight from 5 to 8 pm.

15 percent of all proceeds will be donated to Dr. Danielle Wright’s team to aid their humanitarian journey to orphanages in India and Uganda. Toys, books, hygiene products, and monetary donations will also be collected at the restaurant. People are encouraged to bring gifts for children.

So far, Dr. Danielle and her team have traveled all 50 states and to international communities including Honduras, London, and Russia to spread their humanitarian efforts.
